Apparently, the climate of tension between Anderson Silva e Chael Sonnen he finished. On Tuesday night (2), Sonnen, who, alongside Kenny Florian, is one of the anchors of the “UFC Tonight” program, interviewed, via Skype or Whatsapp, the former enemy. Taking advantage of his good humor, the loudmouth adopted a friendly tone with Anderson, who in turn guaranteed fun responses.
“How much money do you have in your pocket?” asked Sonnen at one point in the interview. "Anything. My kids take my money. I need to fight because they take all my money. I have five kids, man,” Anderson responded, eliciting laughter from the presenting duo.
Subsequently, Chael's target was the partnership between the Brazilian and actor Steven Seagal. “What’s worse: Steven Seagal acting or me fighting?” he asked. “In my opinion, Steven Seagal is a great teacher, and Chael Sonnen He’s a great fighter, a great athlete”, replied Spider, this time dodging the jokes.
Finally, the loudmouth didn't miss the opportunity to reignite the rivalry with Anderson, but with much milder words. “If I promise that I won't cheat and I won't give up without being hurt, would you fight me one more time?” he asked. “Chael? Yes, no problem”, replied Silva, laughing.
This Saturday (6), Anderson Silva defends the Ultimate middleweight title for the eleventh consecutive time. The Brazilian, holder of the belt since 2006, faces the undefeated North American Chris Weidman, in the main fight of UFC 162, in Las Vegas (USA).
