Even assuring that he doesn't care about McGregor, Masvidal advises: 'Go to rehab'

North American opens up about the Irishman's current situation and once again suggests confrontation for the future

Highlight of the Ultimate welterweights, Jorge masvidal has already demonstrated that he is not a big fan of Conor McGregor. Former challenger for the belt in the under-77kg group, the North American, nevertheless, made a point of sending a message to the Irishman, who he considers to be in trouble. The outburst was made in an interview with 'The MMA Hour'.

“He’s an old man yelling at the TV all day. It's a prayer that he's torn apart. He was broken a few times and couldn't get himself back together. Let him have a normal life, man. This guy will end up huffing and puffing until he dies. I'm not worried about him. I want to get big payouts and fight. You, go to rehab, motherfucker, and treat your elders correctly,” said Masvidal, in an interview with 'The MMA Hour'.

After suggesting that Conor needs professional help, Jorge once again expressed his desire to share the octagon with the 'Notório'. At the end of his speech, the fighter 'poked' the Irishman, insinuating that he could beat the former double UFC champion.

“When they schedule our fight, I will teach you to have respect”, he concluded.

MMA legend, McGregor is recovering from a serious injury to his left ankle, suffered in the defeat to Dustin poirier, in July 2021. While he doesn't resume his career, the Irishman has caused controversy outside the MMA universe, such as in his attempt to attack the rapper Machine Gun Kelly and the alleged friction with a DJ in Italy.
