Tyron woodley seems, in fact, to give up on a rematch against Jake Paul and is already planning his next step in boxing against another old acquaintance in mixed martial arts. Ready to win his first victory in the sport, the North American is negotiating a duel against former UFC fighter and commentator, Dan Hardy, for 2022. The information was released by the journalist Ariel helwani.

The talk of a fight between the veterans began after Woodley lost to Paul in a split decision by the judges. Hardy then took to social media to mock the former welterweight champion (up to 77kg) for his performance in the superfight.
Fired from the UFC in April this year after a streak of four losses, Tyron switched to boxing and ended up defeated on his debut. Former welterweight champion from 2016 to 2019, the American has 19 wins, seven setbacks and one draw in mixed martial arts.
Hardy is now leaving his career as a commentator to return to competition. The Englishman made his career in mixed martial arts between 2004 and 2012 and, in the sport, had a record of 25 wins and ten losses, including being defeated by Georges St-Pierre for the UFC welterweight belt in a unanimous decision by the judges.
