With an eye on a possible boxing rematch, the former UFC welterweight champion (up to 77 kg.), Tyron woodley, criticized Jake Paul for ignoring him and reaching an agreement to fight Tommy Fury, which takes place on December 18th, even after fulfilling the agreement and getting a tattoo with the YouTuber's name.

“I watched it for the first time! Every word around here happened. He was challenged and ran. He didn't want to go back. He is not a man of his word,” Woodley wrote in his ‘Twitter' official.

The statement in question comes after the YouTuber denied a rematch to Woodley after beating him in a split decision by the judges, in a fight that took place in August this year. According to him, when the former UFC fighter got a tattoo with 'I love Jake Paul', he had already lined up a fight against Tommy Fury.

“It (the rematch) won’t happen. At the time he got the tattoo, we had already started planning a fight against Tommy Fury. I don't really think people want to see 'Tyron woodley x Jake Paul' again. He already had his chance,” said Paul, in a recent interview with 'TMZ Sports'.

Tyron decided to venture into boxing after a bad phase in mixed martial arts, where he had a negative series of four defeats. In Ultimate, he made history by reigning in the welterweight category between 2016 and 2019, but he hasn't had the same success in the 'noble art' until now.
