Aware of the possibilities in the featherweight division (up to 65,7kg), the champion Alexander Volkanovsky you know you can face Max Holloway in a trilogy in the next Ultimate presentation and is already speculating what the new meeting would be like. In an interview with 'The MMA Hour', the Australian believes he can knock him out and says the Hawaiian receives a lot of blows.

“Man, Max takes a lot of hits. He's a volume striker, but how long will that last? That chin will disappear soon. You cannot calmly accept taking too much damage. They’re talking about the 3 punches he landed and that’s incredible, but he probably got 2 other punches as well,” Volkanovski said.
And the champion didn't stop there. Asked about Holloway's statements, who called himself the 'best boxer' in Ultimate, Alexander disagrees with the statement and reveals that he can surprise him on the feet.
“You talk about being a boxer, but that says a lot about hitting and not getting hit. That's what makes the best boxer. So, you look at the numbers he's hitting – we just need to see the ratio. Don't get me wrong, it's great to watch. But at the same time, you can't do this forever, and that chin will go away. Let's see if he goes in the next fight. I’ll be looking for that”, concluded the champion.
Holder of the featherweight belt since December 2019, Volkanovski dethroned Max Holloway in two clashes – both decided by the judges’ decision. The Australian, since then, has only won Brian ortega and has a record of 23 triumphs and only one setback in his career.
