If there is one thing that Ultimate always seeks to do, it is to add stars to the events it promotes. With this in mind, moments after the Miami Heat won the NBA title, which beat the San Antonio Spurs in the seventh game of the final series, Ultimate's official Twitter invited franchise star LeBron James to watch the next title defense. Anderson Silva, against Chris Weidman, at UFC 162.
“Congratulations Miami Heat! How about your champion LeBron James come watch our champion Anderson Silva at UFC 162? Closed?”, published the organization, along with the image of the Heat winger alongside Chuck Lidell – on another occasion the basketball player attended an Ultimate event.

Those who probably didn't like the news at all are Chael Sonnen. Main rival of Anderson Silva, for someone who has already lost twice in fights valid for the middleweight title, the loudmouth recently declared war on LeBron James, whom he accused of flirting with his fiancée and disdaining fans – including a young man in a wheelchair. Now, Sonnen has plenty of reasons to stay away from the MGM Grand Garden Arena on July 6th.
