Video: MMA legend and personal friend of Glover, Liddell screams in celebration of the Brazilian's victory

Directly responsible for the rise of Glover Teixeira As a professional in MMA, Chuck Liddell did not hide his emotion with the Brazilian's victory in UFC 267. Connected to the main fight last Saturday (30), the North American 'forgot' his nickname 'Iceman' and was thrilled when he saw his friend finish Jan Blachowicz and add the light heavyweight belt (up to 93kg.) at the age of 42.

In the images (see below), released by 'Sexo Round', Chuck is filmed in front of the television shortly after Glover's victory. Upon realizing the end of the confrontation, the veteran, who, interestingly enough, is the former leader of the category, started screaming.

Still on social media, Liddell made a point of publishing an image of Teixeira being interviewed by Daniel Cormier, another former group champion. In the caption, came the tribute.

"I love you brother. I’m so proud of you and your hard work,” he wrote.

Last weekend, the Brazilian made history and joined the select gallery of UFC belt holders. The Minas Gerais native's triumph came safely and imposingly, submitting the then champion, Blachowicz, in the second round.
