No UFC 269, an event scheduled to take place on December 11th, Raulian paiva will have the most decisive fight of his career, when facing Sean O'Malley on the main card of the event. The Brazilian admitted that he was surprised by the North American's interest in facing him and revealed a more cautious way to overcome his next opponent in the confrontation.

“(Sean) O'Malley sells a lot, there's a lot of marketing around him. So this is even better for my work and getting my name out in this new division (…) there are fighters who only know how to hit, but lose their performance when they are under pressure, and that's what I see in O'Malley. If you give him space, he will do what he should, but he will start to get desperate and make more and more mistakes if you don't give him space. That's what I'm going to do. I’m going to make him make mistakes in his own game”, revealed Paiva.
On the back of three consecutive victories, Raulian is one of the great Brazilian promises in bantamweight (up to 61,2kg). Professional since 2013, the Amapá native has a record of 21 triumphs and three setbacks. O'Malley, in turn, attracts the attention of the MMA community due to his performances in the octagon and the power to promote himself outside of it. At 26 years old, he has a record of 14 positive results – including ten knockouts – and only one negative result.
Besides Raulian paiva: UFC 269 it also has other Brazilian representatives. Charles of the Bronx e Amanda nunes defend their titles and Peter Munhoz, André Sergipano e Priscila Pedrita also come into action.
