MMA legend BJ Penn suggests running for governor of Hawaii

Former UFC champion plans campaign and talks about measures against COVID-19 in Hawaii (USA); he has not acted since May 2019

Former UFC lightweight (up to 70,3kg) and welterweight (up to 77kg) champion and mixed martial arts legend, B.J. Penn is close to leaving sport to move into politics. In a post on social media, the athlete indicated that he plans to go further and suggested running for governor of the state of Hawaii (USA). In the caption, the Hawaiian even indicated that he may reduce quarantine restrictions due to COVID-19.
