Former UFC lightweight champion (up to 70,3kg), Khabib Nurmagomedov announced retirement in October 2020 after finishing Justin gaethje. Since then, she has traveled the world to give lectures and, now, she has come across an unusual scene in Harrogate, England.

In a question and answer session, Nurmagomedov was announced and was preparing to speak to the fans, when he was surprised by a fan – who invaded the stage. Even so, the former athlete did not react or even hesitate, asking not to invade his personal space and waiting for security to remove the individual.
Soon after, Khabib tried to send a message to the audience and asked for respect from his fans. According to him, the gesture is important for people to be able to build a good future for the world.
“Let me talk. Guys, I come here from another part of the world to see you and, you know, I think I deserve a little respect too. All over the world I have great support from my people who have the same opinions as me and I truly believe that here we also have the same opinions and please take care of your children. This is our future and this is very important,” said Khabib.
At 32, Khabib Nurmagomedov he must stay in the sport, but only in the commercial part or as a coach. While he was in action, the Russian fought and won 29 fights in his career, with highlights being victories against Dustin poirier, Conor McGregor, Justin gaethje e Rafael dos Anjos.
