After get involved in yet another controversy outside the octagon, Jon Jones spoke out on a social network. In a post on his 'Instagram', the former light heavyweight champion (up to 93kg) did not speak openly about his arrest, but he wrote some motivational messages and promised to permanently eliminate alcohol from his life.

“I have a lot of trauma from consuming alcohol. My brain just can't handle it anymore. I will leave alcohol in my past forever. Now is the time to work harder than ever. Turning this nightmare into the best thing that has ever happened in my life. What the devil means for evil, God means for good. Back on track”, wrote the 'Bones'.
Involved in controversy with the UFC, Jones is waiting to make his debut in the heavyweight division (up to 120,2 kg). At 34 years old, the MMA legend hasn't stepped into the Octagon since February 2020. On that occasion, 'Bones' defeated Dominick reyes in a very complicated fight and kept the belt in the 93kg division.
