After his brother's defeat, Nate Diaz suggests returning to the octagon in 2021

UFC icon wants to have the last fight on his contract in the current season; Vicente Luque is one of the candidates

UFC icon, Nate diaz doesn't seem to want to wait too long to have his last fight under his contract with the organization. Still unsure whether the athlete will renew with the organization, the fighter once again expressed his desire to make a new appearance in 2021. Vincent Luque is one of the candidates.

Diaz's publication came days after the his older brother's frustrating return, Nick, to the Octagon. At the UFC 266, the former Strikeforce champion returned to action after a hiatus of more than six years and ended heavily defeated by Robbie Lawler.

In recent weeks, Nate has shown himself interested in a confrontation against one of the Brazilian welterweight stars (up to 77kg.), Vincent Luque. On social media, athletes even made a 'virtual arrangement' for a confrontation. Ultimate, however, did not comment on the possibility.

PUBLICITY:

While Diaz may be close to saying goodbye to the UFC, Luque is experiencing his best moment in the organization. With four wins in a row, Tupiniquim is now fourth in the group led by Kamaru Usman and candidate for a future title fight. The 'bad boy', in turn, comes from defeat against Leon edwards and is not even part of the welterweight rankings.
