With an eye on getting a rematch against the bantamweight champion (under 61,2kg) Amanda nunes, Miesha Tate is already showing its 'weapons'. The North American praised the Brazilian athlete by calling her the 'best fighter in history', but she said that in the event of a new duel, the ending will be different from the first confrontation.

“I want to be the best again. I have no doubt that I can be champion again and that I can take the belt from Amanda or whoever has it. I always think about her, because she was the woman who stole from me and she seems to be unstoppable. She is phenomenal, but people get lost in her aura of invincibility. I have all the respect in the world for her. For me, she is the best fighter in history, but she is not invincible. She is human, just like you and me. She's beatable and we've seen that before,” Tate told the website 'give me sport'.

The former champion continued to praise the Brazilian fighter, but assured that in the event of a new confrontation, the ending will be different.

“Her evolution was admirable, but wait until you see my evolution. Wait until you see the continuation of my evolution. She didn't fight me on my best day. She didn't fight me at anywhere near my best. I was nowhere near my best. Everything will fall into place and I believe with all my heart and soul that I will become champion again. I think I'll fight Holly (Holm) again, but in my perfect world, I'll be champion before I fight her. Amanda will fight me for the belt. That’s what I want”, concluded Miesha.

In her return to MMA after four years of retirement, Miesha defeated Marion Renneau last July. Former champion of the bantamweight division, the North American was dethroned by her own Amanda nunes, in his first title defense. In her sports record, 'Cupcake' has 19 wins and seven losses.
