Gaethje sees Chandler as a 'service given', ignores Do Bronx and aims for a rematch against Poirier for the belt

Former interim champion believes he will become a Bellator legend and will then fight 'Diamante' for the lightweight title, which belongs to Charles

Self-esteem is the word that defines Justin gaethje nowadays. Escalated to face Michael chandler No. UFC 268, the former interim champion sees the commitment as a 'service given' and is already looking at the next challenge. Anticipating a hypothetical duel, the athlete ignored the lightweight champion (up to 70,3kg), Charles of the Bronx and aims for a revenge against Dustin poirier.

"Dustin poirier will knock you out Charles of the Bronx in December. After I break Michael chandler, on November 6th, anywhere on the planet, I will have my rematch (against Poirier) and you will see the rerun of one of the best fights on Earth, held in 2018. It's a year I'm looking forward to”, wrote Gaethje, in his account at the Twitter.

A standout at lightweight, Gaethje faced Poirier just over three years ago. On that occasion, the athlete ended up being defeated by his compatriot with a knockout in the fourth round.

After beating Justin, Dustin advanced in the group and, after another positive result, faced and won Max Holloway in the dispute for the group's interim belt. Afterwards, the 'Diamond' succumbed to Khabib Nurmagomedov, in a fight to unify the title.
