“He is an excellent boxer. I don't think he hits very hard, but he's a volume fighter. If he doesn't take you down with one punch, he can take you down with two, so I can't stand still. I see a lot of openings for leg kicks, and he doesn't seem to be very physically strong. If I’m stronger and more athletic, nature dictates that I can tire him out,” Manfio said.

To reach the semi-finals, Raush had to get past his compatriot Joilton Pelegrino e Anthony Pettis, both in the judges' split decision. Now, however, he reveals that he wants to finish for the first time in his career and welcomes the duel against Collard.

“I also like this match because I can put my wrestling into practice. I can take him down and look for submissions. With other opponents, the benefits were not worth the risk of going to the ground. I'm looking forward to my first submission victory, and if he continues boxing, my muay-thai is sharp enough to keep up with him. Let's see how it plays out. (…) I have a great falling game. I can take him down and submit him with ground and pound”, concluded the Brazilian.
