The fight should only take place on November 6th, but the exchange of barbs between Justin gaethje e Michael chandler has begun. Expected to be the co-main clash of the UFC 268, in New York (USA), the duel took on a provocative air when the former interim lightweight champion (up to 70,3kg) poked the former Bellator legend.

"I do not have much to say. It will be fun to punch him in the face,” said Gaethje, in an interview with UFC.
The former interim champion's speech didn't seem to bother Michael, who was also participating in the conversation. With a calm air, Chandler countered his opponent's attack in kind.
"Wants to know? I think it will be fun too”, said the fighter.
Although the duel is confirmed, in recent days the fight has gained additional suspense. Bellator legend and newcomer to Ultimate, Michael admitted that he will not be vaccinated against Covid-19, which violates New York state policy, which requires proof of immunization for individuals involved in closed events.
So far, the confrontation remains confirmed. The meeting between the lightweights could define the future challenger for the title of the division that currently belongs to Charles of the Bronx.
