After A. J. McKee not take notice and become the new featherweight champion (up to 65,7kg.) at the end Patricio pitbull in the first round of Bellator 263, the organization's president, Scott Coker, spared no praise for the winner of the Grand Prix of the division.

In a post-event press conference, the president highlighted the North American's relentless performance, his qualities as a complete fighter and also points to him as the great future of MMA.
"A. J. McKee it has everything. He combines striking, jiu-jitsu and all areas very well. He is a complete fighter. (Patrício) Pitbull's team had already said that it was difficult to study him, as AJ has no weaknesses. He's special. It’s the great future of MMA,” said Coker.
It does not stop there. Scott says AJ put on an impressive performance to win the division title. Still according to the top hat, McKee worked hard with the aim of reaching the top.
“That was spectacular. This kid is like dynamite. I always felt like AJ was going to be a star, and over the last three or four fights, he's proven he's the real deal. He was fighting to be a big Bellator star. It’s probably one of the best performances in the company’s history”, concluded the agent.
At 26, A. J. McKee is a 'raw product' of Bellator. The American, who is the new featherweight champion, spent his career in the organization and remains undefeated in 18 fights.
