After victory at UFC Vegas 33, Strickland says he doesn't watch fights, but challenges Israel Adesanya

After beating Uriah Hall this weekend, the fighter suggests 'not knowing' the category and proposes a confrontation against the middleweight champion

Victorious in the biggest challenge of his career to date, Sean Strickland Already looking at the next appointment. After hitting Uriah Hall in the main fight of UFC Las Vegas 33, this Saturday (31), the middleweight (up to 83,9kg.) surprised by saying that he doesn't follow fights, but he aimed high and challenged the champion, Israel adesanya. In a press conference after the show, the North American spoke about the subject.

“I know two names in the top 10: Brad Tavares e Israel adesanya (laughter). I don't really watch fights, I just like to practice”, admitted the athlete.

This weekend, Strickland confirmed the good phase of his career and the great moment since his move to middleweight. Since arriving in the division, the North American has had five consecutive victories. His last setback came in the clash against Elizeu Capoeira, in May 2018.

With the victory over Hall, Sean should take an important step forward in the category. Before this Saturday's clash, the fighter was in 11th place in the group. Now, the fighter can take eighth place, previously dominated by Uriah.
