A leaked Instagram message indicates that there are plans for a boxing match between the MMA legend Anderson Silva and YouTuber Logan Paul on September 19th, in Dubai.

The person responsible for the leak was Bellator fighter Dillon Danis. The American published a screenshot of a message he received on the social network. In the message, jiu-jitsu black belt Viktor Doria challenges him to a grappling fight on the same card as Anderson Silva and Logan Paul would face each other.
“There will be a big event in Dubai on September 19th. The main attraction is the boxing match between Anderson Silva and Logan Paul. Do you accept a grappling fight with ADCC rules and judges?”, challenged Doria.
In June, shortly after defeating Julio César Chávez Jr in his return to professional boxing, Anderson Silva talked about the possibility of facing one of the Paul brothers in the future.
“I have a great relationship with both brothers and I think it’s a possibility. It's entertainment. It's a fight, but it's entertainment. Logan and Jake are amazing guys. People talk about them a lot, but they are good people. I respect both and I respect the sport. I think anything is possible”, said Spider at the time.
It wouldn't be the first time Logan Paul stepped into the ring with a combat sports legend. The YouTuber comes from eight full rounds against Floyd Mayweather Jr., in an exhibition fight held on June 6th.
Anderson Silva, in turn, is coming off an impressive performance against Julio César Chávez Jr, showing that he can still compete at a high level at 46 years old.
