Ronda Rousey praises McGregor's attitude after injury at UFC 264 and Irishman responds

The former bantamweight champion praised the Irishman for already thinking about promoting a new fight against Poirier even though he was injured and the 'Notório' thanked him for his support

Even with a fractured ankle, Conor McGregor never stopped provoking and he even threatened Dustin Poirier after the main fight of UFC 264. The former bantamweight champion (up to 61,2kg) Ronda Rousey praised the Irishman's 'posture' and congratulated him for, despite being injured, starting to promote a new duel against the 'Diamante'.

“I'm surprised that as soon as you hit the ground, you were already promoting the next fight Conor McGregor. I definitely wouldn't have the mind to do that. The other fighters, UFC and media are lucky to have you,” Ronda wrote in her 'Twitter'.

Still on the same social network, the Irishman was quick to respond to the American and thanked her for the message received at a difficult time in his personal and professional life.

Considered one of the pioneers of women's MMA in Ultimate, Ronda led the bantamweight division (up to 61,2kg) from 2013 to 2015. After being dethroned by Holly holm, the American was away from the Octagon for more than a year. On her return, 'Rowdy' was knocked out in the first round by the 'new' champion Amanda nunes. After the setback, Rousey announced her retirement from the sport.
