Announced months ago, the fight between the YouTuber Jake Paul and former UFC champion Tyron woodley finally has a defined date and place. This Monday (12), Showtime Sports announced that the duel will take place at the Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse, in Cleveland (USA), on August 29th. The fight stage is home to the Cleveland Cavaliers, an NBA franchise.

Jake Paul was born in Cleveland and raised in Westlake, a suburb of the city. When announcing the date and location of the duel, the YouTuber spoke about the feeling of fighting at home.
“I grew up going to Cavs, Browns and Indians games on the weekends, dreaming of one day putting on a show for my hometown like they did. On August 29th, the dream comes true. My biggest challenge to date, in the city that raised me, on pay-per-view for the whole world to watch me knock out a UFC champion,” said Paul.
The duel between Paul and Woodley will be at a combined weight, up to 86 kg, and will lead an event that features three more fights. Highlight for multi-champion Amanda Serrano, who will put the World Boxing Council and World Boxing Organization featherweight belts on the line against Mexican Yamileth Mercado, World Boxing Council super-bantamweight champion.
In his recent professional boxing career, Jake Paul He has entered the ring three times and is undefeated, with three wins by knockout. The last of them was against ex-UFC Ben Askren, less than two minutes into the first round.
Tyron woodley, in turn, debuts in noble art. The former UFC welterweight champion (up to 77 kg) comes from four consecutive defeats in the Octagon. The last of them happened in March this year, when he was finished by the Brazilian Vincent Luque.
