Former UFC and Bellator, Hector Lombard is the new Bare Knuckle FC champion in the under-102kg category. Even with the great achievement last weekend, what caught the attention was the incident after the victory over Joe Riggs. Interviewed while still on the fighting field, the veteran was unhappy when he was interrupted by his possible challenger, Lorenzo Hunt, and, without thinking, attacked his rival with a series of well-aimed punches. The combatant was quickly removed.

In the images (see below), it is possible to notice the arrival of Hunt, who ended up surprised by Lombard's action. Lorenzo came face to face with the new champion, but there was little time for the traditional face-off. Visibly dissatisfied with the interruption, Hector attacked his likely opponent.

Interestingly, the first to arrive to break up the confusion was Riggs, defeated by the former UFC fighter in the title fight. Realizing the situation, Joe threw himself in front of the veteran to calm things down.

The title fight itself also ended unexpectedly. The duel between Hector and Joe was ended in the fourth round, due to medical interruption. Riggs was unable to continue fighting after telling doctors that he could only see in one eye.
