Brazil had a night to forget in the sixth edition of the World Series of Fighting (WSOF), an event held this Saturday (23), in New Jersey, in the United States. With six athletes in the fight program, the country left the show with four defeats and only victories. Those responsible for the Brazilian triumphs were Danillo Vilefort and Marlon moraes. Already Paulo Filho, Igor Gracie, Alexandre Pulga and Gesias Cavalcante ended up defeated.
Willing to resume his international career, Paulo Filho he returned to presenting himself in an apathetic manner in front of Dave Branch. The American abused the takedown game to dominate the former WEC champion and win the fight with a unanimous decision from the judges. In the second most important fight of the show, Marlon moraes he knocked out Tyson Nam with a beautiful high kick and scored his fourth consecutive victory.
In the main fight of the night, Anthony Johnson debuted in the heavyweight division with victory. The North American, who is originally a middleweight, beat the former UFC champion Andrei Arlovski in the unanimous decision of the judges.
