“It's not as bad as it seems. There was no break, my elbow dislocated quite a bit, but they were able to put it back together and the doctor said it is rock solid. I have all the movement I need, but it will still hurt for a while. I will have medical monitoring when I return home and I hope to be able to return to training soon”, says Hill.

The fighter also commented on what he felt at the time of the injury. He stated that after seeing his arm out of place, he still thought about knocking out his opponent.

“It was a small discomfort until I looked down and saw, the pain didn't register, really, I only thought about winning. It was just the competitor in me. I tried to knock him out. I thought 'okay, you have to land that blow and try to knock him out'. That's what I tried, but it was a really bad situation for me, not being able to use my arm at that moment. The only thing I could do was ask myself 'what can I do now?'” says Hill.
