After the shocking accident carried out by Chris Weidman No. UFC 261, it didn't take long for comparisons to begin with the injury suffered by Anderson Silva, in 2013. Pivot of the most traumatic moment in the career of the Brazilian legend, the North American ended up experiencing a similar drama this Saturday (24), in the clash against Uriah Hall.

In the clash against Hall, Weidman was unable to show his strategy. In the opening seconds, when he launched a low kick, defended by his rival, the public could notice the visible fracture in the veteran's right leg.
When carrying out the blow, Chris, like Anderson in 2013, did not immediately realize what happened. The athlete only became aware of what had happened when he tried to steady his support foot, thus collapsing.
After the tragedy, the fight referee was left to declare Uriah's victory by technical knockout. The athlete, however, didn't even celebrate the triumph and showed a lot of respect for the former middleweight champion (up to 83,9kg).
The accident with Anderson, which occurred more than seven years ago, curiously in front of Chris himself, left the Brazilian out of action for more than a year. The Brazilian managed to return to active duty only in 2015, when he faced Nick Diaz, at UFC 183.
