One of the most competitive categories today, the lightweight division (up to 70,3kg) is close to winning another important duel. Ultimate works for a confrontation between Justin gaethje e Michael chandler, with no defined location yet. The information was released by 'ESPN' North-American.

The former UFC interim belt holder, Justin gaethje, aims to recover from the defeat suffered against Khabib Nurmagomedov for the linear lightweight title, in UFC 254, in October. Currently, the North American is 32 years old and has a history of 22 triumphs and three setbacks in his career.

On the other hand, former Bellator lightweight champion, Michael chandler made its debut in UFC 257, in January, when he knocked out Dan Hooker in the first round. At 34 years old,'Iron', as it is known, has a record of 22 positive results and five negative results, in addition to being on a streak of three consecutive victories.

Even though the fight has not been officially announced and there is not even a set date, Ultimate appears to be organizing the future of the lightweight division (up to 70,3kg). Recently, the franchise also forwarded the duel between Tony Ferguson e Beneil Dariush for issue no. 262, which takes place on May 15th.
