Mike Tyson chooses duel between Derrick Lewis and Curtis Blaydes as 'Fight of the Year'

Heavy weight (up to 120,2kg.) Derrick Lewis ‘shocked the world’ by brutally knocking him out Curtis blaydes in the main fight of UFC Las Vegas 19. An underdog, the North American was praised even by the boxing legend, Mike Tyson, who praised his performance on the card and even suggested the name of Jairzinho Rozenstruik then.

“So listen man, I like the heavyweights they have. I saw Derrick Lewis deliver a devastating knockout. That was the ‘Fight of the Year’. Knockout. He (Blaydes) was already asleep. But you know what scared me? The second punch he hit him with. It didn't feel like it hit him, but man. That second, oh God. I’m glad he’s okay after that,” revealed Tyson, in an interview with Ultimate’s president, Dana White, on the podcast ‘Hotboxin with Mike Tyson'.

After the fight, Lewis asked for Overeem's name next. The Dutchman, however, ended up being cut by the organization. Now, Tyson has suggested another important name in the division.

“I'm happy that he (Blaydes) is okay after the knockout. (…) Now I want to see Lewis fight (with Rozenstruik)”, added the boxer.

With the victory, Lewis reached second place in the division, led by Stipe Miocic. The champion defends the title against the first, Francis Ngannou, UFC 260. On the other hand, Rozenstruik is sixth and is coming off a defeat to Cyryl Gane No. UFC Las Vegas 20.
