An important confrontation that would take place on the main card of the UFC 258, an event that takes place next Saturday (13), had to be rescheduled. The North American Jimmie rivera tested positive for Covid-19 and the duel against the Brazilian Peter Munhoz, in the bantamweight category (up to 61,2 kg), was postponed. The fight was transferred to the UFC Las Vegas 23, which will take place on February 27th. The information was first released on the website “MMA fighting"

Ultimate has not yet officially commented on the postponement of the fight between Munhoz and Rivera. As a result, it is not yet known which fight will replace the duel on the main card of the UFC 258.
Rivera is ranked ninth in the bantamweight rankings and has a record of 23 wins and four losses. His last appearance in the octagon was in July 2020 when he won cody stmann by points. Pedrinho is eighth in the ranking, one position above his opponent, and has a record of 18 wins, 5 losses and one “I didn't answer” (fight without result). After achieving a good streak of three consecutive victories, one by knockout over former category champion Cody Gabrandt, Munhoz was defeated by aljamain sterling e Frankie Edgar, in August last year.
