MMA is a sport marked by intense rivalries and, without a doubt, one of the best known is the one between Jon Jones e Daniel Cormier. On Monday (16), 'DC' excluded 'Bones' from the fight for the best fighter in history, due to the doping episode, and he responded. However, he was not satisfied and continued the attack.

On his social media, Jones diminished Cormier's quality, considering him frustrated, because he wasn't the best in MMA or wrestling and couldn't forgive the fact that he retired with a defeat.

“Naysayers will always try to discourage you from having something they cannot achieve. Cormier was important, but he will never be considered one of the best at anything. He He was a man who fell short and now comments and talks about what I can't do. It's hilarious! I've lost many times throughout my life, but the fierce competitor in me won't let me lose. Honestly, that's what I'll remember most about Cormier. He gave up on his fans, the sport and his legacy by retiring with a loss,” Jones posted on Twitter.

And do not stop there. The former light heavyweight (93kg) champion informed that there is no way to compare Cormier with Anderson Silva and hinted that the rival found himself as a commentator, as it is easier to talk about other athletes than to fight.

“Anderson battled a horrible leg injury. Success defeated Cormier. He prefers to eat chicken. Continuing to fight at a high level is not for everyone. Coming back after being knocked out is very difficult for a fighter. It's easier to give up and talk when you're out of the game. Cormier has no importance in saying who is the best fighter in the history of MMA. I point out facts. Many people have wrong opinions about me, but no one can deny what I did. It’s very easy to come here and win…”, he concluded.

even though Jon Jones keep fighting and Daniel Cormier Being retired, the tendency is for the rivalry not to diminish, much less cease to exist. On the contrary, more chapters are to come, as 'Bones' moved up to heavyweight (120,2kg), a category in which 'DC' was champion.
