Anderson Silva cites legends to give his opinion on the ranking of the greatest in the history of MMA: 'There is no best'

Brazilian clarifies what he thinks about the issue of the most significant representatives of the sport and praises references from the past

Considered by many to be the best MMA fighter of all time, Anderson Silva carries a reputation that is difficult to ignore. Legend of the sport in the middleweight division (up to 83,9kg.), the Brazilian commented on the rankings created to list the biggest names in the sport, disagreed with criteria and praised legends of the past. “For me, there is no such discussion. There are moments. People were better at certain times. Georges St-Pierre had his moment, Royce (Gracie) was the best, Jon Jones, Khabib (Nurmagomedov), Matt Serra, Pedro Rizzo, Vitor belfort, B.J. Penn. There is no such thing as better weight for weight. They are the best momentarily and, in a little while, it will pass. I think this thing about the best in the world and the best of all time is very premature and a bit meaningless”, said the Brazilian.
