Anderson preparation

Known as the best middleweight (up to 83,9kg) in MMA, Anderson needs no introduction. Even at 45 years old, Roberto guarantees that the Brazilian is in perfect condition to face a younger and more dangerous athlete in the UFC Las Vegas 12.

“We are doing five rounds straight. I'm learning a lot. He's tough, he's too fit, he's too well trained. I joke with him: 'Uncle is in shape (very physically)'. I’m having a hard time here”, joked Facada.

Expectations for the fight against Hall

In the confrontation that should seal 'Spider's' farewell to the UFC, the board didn't want to let the former champion go easy. Uriah was the athlete chosen to exchange forces against the São Paulo native and, thus, Facada evaluated how he imagines the confrontation unfolding.

“I believe it is a good game for Anderson. It's going to be a good, interesting fight, but I believe Uriah Hall You don't want to keep changing (fighting on your feet). He will want to roll it up and put it down”, said the partner.

Anderson's advantages over his opponent

Famous for his unique style and who made history by crushing several rivals over the years, Silva will try to put his arsenal back into practice inside the octagon. In this way, Facada believes that the accumulated experience will make a difference in the farewell.

“Anderson is a counterpuncher. I really believe in his standing part. In the clinch, especially, he is very strong. Knee, elbow game. It's going to be a good fight. The fight doesn't go to the ground, no. It will end on its feet, not undermining the Uriah Hall, he's a very dangerous guy. But, if we are going to exchange blows, Anderson has more game”, explained Roberto.

Ready for 'goodbye'

Although he avoids saying that the fight against Hall will be his official farewell to MMA, everything indicates that the confrontation will seal his goodbye to the UFC, where he experienced the best moments of his career. Facada then celebrates the preparation time with his partner and guarantees a competitive fighter for this Saturday.

“You will be impressed by him. I joked with him: 'I'm going to get there and you're going to be chubby. I'm going to hit you a lot.' I arrived here and he was in shape. I said: 'I'm screwed. I'm going to get hit a lot'.

Prediction for the end of the confrontation

Known as one of the greatest knockout artists in the history of the sport, Anderson wants to end his time in Ultimate with a flourish. For this, Roberto sees no better outcome than for his partner to end the duel before the judges' decision.

“Knockout, I can’t see any different. To shock the crowd”, she said.

Does Anderson retire, or not?

It is impossible to confirm what is going on in the head of one of the greatest champions of all time. In recent interviews, Anderson has signaled that he could be seen performing in the future. Stab then gave his opinion.

“The athlete knows when to stop, when the body can’t take it anymore. This is no longer the case with him. He has a lot of firewood to burn. I don’t think he will (retire)”, he concluded.
