One of the most feared athletes in recent MMA history, Francis Ngannou he is definitely not at peace with the UFC. Current number one in the heavyweight rankings (up to 120,2kg), the French-Cameroonian once again criticized the lack of title fights in the category and complained about his period of inactivity within the company.

“Two title fights in the UFC heavyweight division in the last two years and we don't know if there will be another in the near future. Challengers need to fight for something. This sucks. (…) Apparently, Stipe (Miocic) is out until March. If I have to wait until then, it will be almost a year between fights,” wrote Ngannou on his Twitter account.
Francis, who has been tipped to compete for the title for over a year, had to wait for the score between Miocic and Daniel Cormier, who faced each other twice consecutively for the belt, in 2019 and 2020. In order not to stand still, the French-Cameroonian agreed to perform on two occasions, against junior gypsy e Jairzinho Rozenstruik. The 'giant' won both clashes brutally.
“I’ve struggled for 20 seconds in the last 16 months,” he complained.
In addition to anxiously awaiting the opportunity to fight for the belt again, Nanou now lives on Jon Jones, which made his migration to the heavyweight division official. Despite having the support of Dana White that he will be the next challenger, 'Bones' going to the category could disrupt the plans, on the commercial side.
2 title fights in the @ufc heavyweight division for the past two years and yet we don't know if there will be another one anytime soon. Contenders have to fight for something 😤 #ThisIsSucks
