The soap opera of the historic revenge between Vitor belfort e Wanderlei Silva It doesn't seem to have an end. After exchanging barbs through the press and social media, the 'Phenomenon' lost patience and summoned the Curitiba native so that the contract could be signed. “Wanderlei posted that there will be a fight, that he made a poster. I want to clarify for you that my team, my agent, has already called him, Chatri Sityodtong, from ONE Championship, has already said that this fight will happen and, now, it's up to him. All he has to do is start negotiating with us. It’s worth remembering that, for the fight to happen, he’s going to have to move,” said Belfort.

Finally, the former UFC champion gave the ultimatum for Silva to move so that the confrontation can finally be confirmed.

“I'll give you some advice, Wanderlei: get in touch with the people, dedicate yourself there, my brother. We're just waiting for you. Stop putting 'fake news', 'little posters', making stories out there. Let's fight. I already accepted, now you just have to move”, concluded Vitor.

Belfort's indignation occurred after Wanderlei published, on a social network, a poster that supposedly confirmed the duel between them in a supercard scheduled for November 21st. In addition to the rematch between the Brazilians, the event would promote a duel between Fabricio Werdum e Fedor Emelianenko, in addition to a fight between Tito Ortiz e Rashad evans. Hours later, the image was deleted by 'Wand'.

Vitor and Silva faced each other for the first time in 1998, at a UFC show held in São Paulo. On that occasion, the Rio de Janeiro native defeated 'Crazy Dog' with a devastating knockout in less than a minute. Since then, after more than 20 years, the athletes have been flirting with a repeat of the clash.
