Retired since May, Henry Cejudo He doesn't give up trying to achieve an unprecedented feat in the UFC. Former flyweight (up to 56,7kg) and bantamweight (up to 61,2kg) champion, the North American has been putting pressure on the organization to compete for the featherweight (up to 65,7kg) belt against Alexander Volkanovsky. This time, the athlete made a publication aimed at the company's president, Dana White.

“Allow me to make history, Dana White. I promise to leave the featherweight division giant”, wrote 'Triplo C' on 'Twitter'.
Ultimate's 'big boss' Dana wasn't the only one who didn't emerge unscathed from Henry's attacks. The former champion also poked at the owner of the featherweight belt, Alexander Volkanovsky, who recently defended his title for the first time by beating Max Holloway in a rematch held at UFC 251.
“This is the only fight that matters to my legacy and would cement me as the best of all time in the sport. Who would like to see me do Alexander Volkanovsky bend the knee?”, the North American posted on his 'Instagram' account.
Despite being provoked by Henry in recent months, Volkanovski seems not to be excited about the 'Triple C' proposal. Champion since December last year, the Australian always makes a point of stating that his challenges will only be aimed at the highest ranked fighters in his division.
Alexander, however, has already stated that, if the UFC wants to promote the superfight, the contract would be conditional on a considerable amount of money.
Allow me to make history @danawhite I promise I will make the featherweight division great! 🇺🇸 https://t.co/bbIDFL32I4
