Bellator expects to resume activities on July 24, in the United States, says website

One of the biggest MMA organizations in the world, Bellator is close to announcing the resumption of its calendar. Without events since February, due to the coronavirus pandemic, the company hopes to promote a show for July 24, at the Mohegan Sun Arena, in Uncasville, Connecticut (USA). The officialization of the card, however, depends on authorization from the Mohegan Regulation Department. The information was released by 'Sherdog.com'.

In order for the company to hold its relaunch card, Bellator must meet health requirements that promote safety for athletes, teams, company members and other company employees. Public presence will not be permitted.

The last event promoted by the company chaired by Scott Coker took place on February 22, in Dublin, Ireland. On that occasion, the show featured a meeting between Leah McCourt and Judith Ruis.

Following complications due to the coronavirus pandemic, Bellator chose to suspend its events indefinitely, canceling cards that would take place in the following months.
