Undefeated in Ultimate and reaching her fourth fight for the organization, Amanda ribas He exudes friendliness and confidence wherever he goes. With a fight scheduled for this Saturday (11), when he faces paige vanzant in one of the fights UFC 251, the Brazilian left her comfort zone and took on the challenge of exchanging strengths with the North American in the flies (up to 56,7kg.). The Minas Gerais native, however, rules out pressure for a confrontation and, in an interview for 'Media Day', with the participation of SUPER FIGHTS, spoke about the expectations for the fight.

"Pressure? I don't put pressure on myself because I've been fighting since I was a kid. This world of competition, this 'vibe', is my home. For me, it’s big and I really love it,” said the Brazilian.
Although I am confident in her talent, Amanda will be in her 11th fight as a professional in MMA this weekend. With this in mind, the athlete is cautious when talking about title fights.
“I feel like I need time, because I only have three UFC fights. I am an ambitious woman. So, maybe, in my category, at my weight, 52,1kg, I hope my next fight will be in the top 10 or top five. Maybe, if the UFC wants, in the fly too, against a strong opponent. I want that too”, said Ribas.
Regarding the commitment in UFC 251, Amanda showed respect for her opponent and said she was happy to be chosen to face famous opponents within the company.
“For me, it’s unbelievable. Before paige vanzant, I faced Mackenzie dern (in October last year). She has an incredible reputation too. Now, I'm going to face Paige. I'm facing great opponents in the sport. I believe this way I can make a name for myself too”, she concluded.
