Weidman celebrates victory over Munoz
the american Chris Weidman surprised everyone by dominating Mark Munoz and knocking out the Filipino at UFC on FUEL TV 4, an event held last Wednesday night (11), in San Jose, California.
The result put the fighter, who is undefeated in MMA with nine victories, close to a chance to compete for the category belt against the Brazilian Anderson Silva. And even with the Brazilian's broad dominance in the middleweight division, where he has held the title since 2006, Weidman says he can submit the Brazilian.

“I have the stature of Anderson Silva, so he won't be able to play long (distance) with me. If he comes inside, my takedowns are very good. I'll take him down. I really believe I can submit Anderson and finish the fight with him”, said an American confident.
Weidman also made a point of saying that Chael Sonnen, Anderson's last opponent, showed the way to defeat the champion, and that he can follow the same takedown strategy to overcome Spider.
“I don't want to be that guy who says he's going to have an easy fight against Anderson Silva. But Chael Sonnen apparently showed a way to beat the champion”, he concluded.
