With this in mind, the coach of the lightweight champion (up to 70,3kg) stated that his team will not make any impositions on the contest, which remains threatened due to the coronavirus outbreak. “We as a team are willing to travel anywhere (for the fight to happen), wherever that is, we are willing to travel. We were told, APEX (where Dana White’s Contender Series performances are recorded), in Las Vegas, but that it was vetoed because of the Athletic Commission (in New York), which prevented all fights from happening.
