Sonnen teases: “I’m not going to kill him, but it will be the end of Anderson Silva’s career”

The war of provocations between Anderson Silva e Chael Sonnen added another chapter this Tuesday (03). The fighters, who will face each other in the main fight of UFC 148, next Saturday (07), in Las Vegas, exchanged barbs in the last press conference before the event.

After Anderson said he would destroy his opponent, Sonnen preferred to say he would not kill his rival, but would put an end to the career of the greatest champion in UFC history.

“I'm not going to kill him, but it's the end of Anderson's career at Silva. He calls himself a champion, but I'm the best. He’s an MMA fighter and I’m a real fighter,” said Sonnen. "It's personal. This guy is coming to my house wanting to rob me. If he wants to act like he was assaulted, where he was the last two years, I really don't care what he thinks.”

Sonnen also assured that he has improved a lot since his first meeting with Anderson, at UFC 117, in 2010, when he dominated the fight against the Brazilian, but ended up finishing with just over a minute left in the fight.
