“I challenged him after my last fight. I'm going to get that guy before USADA (United States Anti-Doping Agency) gets him. I swear to God. I want to be the first to do that,” said the champion.

The fight between Israel and Borrachinha is highly anticipated by MMA fans, as both fighters are undefeated in their professional careers. Thinking this way, Adesanya confirmed that the Minas Gerais native should be his next opponent, as long as the Nigerian defeats Romero this weekend.

“He's next in line, but I'm not going to give him morals after the fight. I did it in Melbourne (in October),” Israel said.

At 30 years old, the current middleweight champion has 18 appearances as a professional in MMA. The Brazilian, in turn, has 13 commitments and defeated Yoel himself in his last fight.
