“I want to prove that there are no limits. Age is just a number to me. I think you can do anything if you believe in yourself. That if you live a disciplined lifestyle, a not-so-emotional life, if you live under a conviction, anything is possible,” said the Cuban.
Known for the aggressiveness and intensity with which he takes his fights, the middleweight stated that he is far from hanging up his gloves. According to Yoel, he is still capable of performing at a high level for many years to come.
“Yes (I want to fight for another ten years). Sport is life. I love my life. I love life and I love sport, so I want to continue living and I need to continue playing sports. I'll be upset if I can't play the sport anymore. One day you may no longer compete, but you need to stay in the sport. This is different”, he concluded.
This Saturday will be the fourth time that the Cuban has been selected to compete for an Ultimate title. The athlete, in addition to facing a high-level opponent, will have to put an end to the Nigerian's unbeaten run that has already lasted 18 fights.
