Polish Joanna Jędrzejczyk is close to another UFC title fight. This Saturday (7), at UFC 248, in Las Vegas, the Polish woman will act against Weili Zhang in the co-main fight of the night for the strawweight title (up to 52,1kg.). In an interview with 'Bleacher Report' the combatant spoke about the strategy for the confrontation.

“I want to be unpredictable and make her uncomfortable. This is what will happen. Weili is a very dangerous fighter, so my strongest muscle in this fight will be my brain. I have to be smart and intelligent, but, of course, physically I'm ready too”, said Joanna.

With just over two days left until the big meeting, the Polish woman stated that she intends to abuse standing combat and will seek to confuse her opponent with boxing elements.

“I want to use my combos and my boxing. Mix my boxing and kicks. My footwork is going to be key. My jab, my distance, the reach, cutting angles”, said the former champion.

In addition to the role of regaining her old title, the Pole will have the tough task of ending the Chinese's six-year unbeaten streak. Zhang has been defeated on just one occasion, in November 2013, when she made her professional MMA debut. Champion since she defeated Jessica Andrade at UFC Shenzhen, in August, the fighter hopes to maintain her number one status.

Joanna got the right to challenge the Chinese for the title after a great victory over Michelle Waterson, in the main fight of the UFC Tampa, in October. Since then, the Polish woman has been preparing to exchange forces with Weili.
