Brazilian Markus 'Maluko' already has a new commitment within Ultimate. Defeated by Wellington Turman on the São Paulo card, in November last year, the middleweight (up to 83,9kg.) is scheduled to face the Italian Alessio di chirico at UFC Portland, which takes place on April 11, in the United States. The information was released by the organization and by the athlete himself on his official Instagram account.

Hired by Ultimate 2017, the São Paulo native made his debut for the company in December of the same year. On that occasion, the combatant ended up defeated by Erik Anders in the unanimous decision of the judges at UFC Fresno.
To date, 'Maluko' has already made five appearances for the organization, winning on two occasions and being defeated on the other three. The fight against Alessio, then, is essential for Markus to regain his winning path and be able to work calmly within the company.
Just like the São Paulo native, Alessio needs to win in his next commitment. The Italian comes from two consecutive defeats and has not won a triumph since July 2018. With seven appearances for Ultimate, Di Chirico has three wins and three defeats for the company.
In November last year, 'Maluko' caught the public's attention when he appeared at the ceremonial weighing in makeup as 'Joker', a character who rivals the superhero 'Batman'. The Brazilian's image had repercussions around the world, however, the athlete was unsuccessful in the respective confrontation and ended up defeated by the judges' unanimous decision.
