In the 12th episode of the reality show, shown this Sunday (10), the fighter who was the first choice of the Wanderlei Silva fought a fiercely contested battle with Hugo Wolverine and won the fight with a unanimous decision from the judges. With victory, Jason faces Geoffrey Pepey, who had secured a place in the 10th episode, in the grand final of the reality show.

The fight
The second featherweight semi-final featured two very explosive athletes, but got off to a thoughtful start. The athletes tried not to expose themselves, waiting for the best moment to strike.

But halfway through the first round, the fighters began to unleash their striking skills and the fight became heated. Jason took the center of the octagon and tried to work with straight strikes, while Wolverine responded well with the counterattack.
At the end of the first half, Hugo had a nose bleed, while Rony suffered a small cut on his eye.
In the second round, the fight continued with striking and was very competitive, with a good exchange of blows and alternation in control of the fight. With a beautiful stomp, which was reminiscent of the blow applied by Anderson Silva em Vitor belfort, Ron knocked Wolverine down. Belfort's student managed to recover, continue in the dispute, and even try to respond to his opponent's attack.
In the third round, Wolverine even connected better blows, but Rony managed to use his greater reach and get out of the range of Hugo's renowned boxing. In the final seconds, Jason still looked for a takedown to secure the victory until the bell sounded.
At the end, both athletes raised their arms and were applauded by all team members. In the decision of the side judges, better for Ron Jason, who won unanimously.
Nogueira and Shogun brothers visit the fighters
Before the second featherweight semifinal, the confined athletes had illustrious visits. First were the brothers Rodrigo Minotauro e Rogério Minotouro, who wore a green shirt, visited the Training Center. As Jason is a student on Team Nogueira, the twins' team, Rony came to play. “You may wear green today, but tomorrow it will be blue. Otherwise I’ll change teams”, he said laughing.
But soon after, Fabricio Werdum, jiu-jitsu coach of the Wanderleil team, wore a blue shirt in Minotauro.
Then it was time to Mauricio Shogun arrive at the TUF house. The fighter, who is a former teammate and great friend of Wanderlei Silva, spoke with the athletes about their experience at the house.
During the fight between Jason and Hugo, Shogun also followed the fight, dressed in a blue shirt, alongside the other athletes from Wand's team.
Next program
The first season of TUF Brasil ends next Sunday (17) with the second middleweight semi-final. The paulista Thiago Bodão and the miner Cezar Mutant compete for a place in the final and the chance to face Daniel sarafian for a contract with the UFC.
