A confusion involving the athletes competing in the main fight of Brave 27, which takes place this Friday (4), in Abu Dhabi, marked the official weigh-in of the event, this Thursday (3). On that occasion, the current welterweight champion (up to 77kg), Abdoul Abdouraguimov, had a disagreement with his opponent during the confrontation, pushed his rival, who countered, and the two went to battle. The athletes had to be separated by team members and those responsible for the organization. The clash between the combatants will represent a rematch of a meeting that took place in April. The video was released by Brave on its official Instagram account.

If the rivalry is important for the promotion of a fight, Brave's management will have nothing to complain about. Representatives of this Friday's event have already made it clear that the climate for the fight is more than ready for the main duel.

The last time they met, in a fight for Brave 23, Abdouraguimov got the better of his opponent in a split decision from the judges. To eliminate any doubts, the company decided to hold the rematch and ensure that the title is held by the best fighter.

This is not the first time that the athletes have fallen out when they come face to face off the battlefield. In the promotion for the April duel, the then champion, Jarrah, pushed Abdoul's face, causing confusion.

PUBLICITY:

This Thursday's episode was similar to that seen between Jon Jones e Daniel Cormier during the confrontation for the first duel between the two, when DC was still playing in the light heavyweight division, in 2015, representing UFC 182. When they were placed face to face, Cormier pushed 'Bones' neck which, when touched, went upwards rival, overthrowing the event's promotional structure and generating a fight that the organization found difficult to break up.

Currently, champion Abdouraguimov, 24 years old, is undefeated in his professional record, which has 10 appearances.

PUBLICITY:

Jarrah has 15 fights, three setbacks and, before losing to Abdoul, he hadn't tasted defeat since January 2015.

Brazilians on the card

In addition to the title fight, two Brazilians will be representing the Brazilian colors at the event in Abu Dhabi. Alex Nacfur will face American Dwight Brooks; while Flávio Serafim will exchange forces with Muhammad Al Khatib.
