Poirier challenges McGregor, who responds: 'Tell him I'm the best and I'll think about it'

Irishman asks North American to apologize for past statement so he can consider facing former interim champion

Time passes and the tide of Conor McGregor doesn't seem to have diminished. After receiving a challenge from Dustin poirier, recently defeated by Khabib Nurmagomedov, the Irishman responded to the North American's invitation with reservations. The athlete asks 'Diamante' to retract a comment made about him, in which he disdained the former champion. The statement was made by 'Notório' on his Twitter account.

Conor's publication was made in response to a challenge made by Poirier after the American was defeated by Khabib in a fight valid for the unification of the lightweight title (up to 70,3kg), held last Saturday (7), in Abu Dhabi.
