BRAVE announces return to Abu Dhabi with historic rematch for Arab MMA

After two events in South America, BRAVE returns to the Middle East in style. On October 4th, the organization will return to Abu Dhabi for BRAVE 27. In the main fight, a duel between Arab rivals, with welterweight world champion Abdoul Abdouraguimov defending his title against former belt owner Jarrah Al- Selawe.

Jordanian Al-Selawe tried to make the first defense of his welterweight belt against Abdouraguimov, in the main fight of BRAVE 23. Fighting at home, Al-Selawe was almost submitted in the first rounds, before coming close to a knockout in the final rounds . The split decision in favor of the Franco-Russian was quite controversial and Al-Selawe was outraged by the unexpected defeat.

Now, however, he will have the chance to return to his position as BRAVE CF champion in the same arena where he won the belt in an immediate rematch. In September last year, Jarrah surpassed Carlston Harris at BRAVE 16 to become owner of the welterweight title and now he returns to Abu Dhabi again as a challenger for the world title.
