Good news for the old guard of MMA enthusiasts. The Bellator and RIZIN boards are entering into negotiations to arrange a fight between the veterans Fedor Emelianenko e Quinton Rampage Jackson for December 29th, in Japan. The information was released by the writer specializing in MMA, Josh Gross, on his Twitter account. There would also be a battle on the agenda between Ryan bader e Jiri Prochazka.

“It seems increasingly likely that Bellator will hold a show on December 29th in Japan. The main clash under discussion is Rampage Jackson vs. Fedor Emelianenko, and would be announced as the main fight, in Japan,” Gross wrote.
The athletes are far from the moments of glory experienced a few years ago in MMA. Although Rampage live a better moment in your career, as you come from a victory over Wanderlei Silva by Bellator, in September last year, the athlete has been lacking in recent years in terms of his physical aspect. The athlete, in his last commitment, appeared visibly overweight, different from the physical strength shown in past fights.
Fedor, in turn, comes from a defeat against Ryan bader, which took place in January this year. The 'Last Emperor', who is considered, by many, the greatest MMA athlete in history, however, at 42 years old, still manages to perform at a high level. Since 2015, when he decided to resume his career, which was interrupted in 2012, the Russian has had six fights, winning four and losing in two.
The duel between the two legends could shake Japan, as both were big stars who performed in the now-defunct 'PRIDE', between 2001 and 2006.
At 41, Rampage His professional record includes 51 fights, with 38 victories and 13 defeats.
Emelianenko, in turn, has already fulfilled 42 commitments, with the same 38 victories as his possible rival, but six setbacks.
It looks increasingly likely that Bellator will run a show Dec. 29 in Japan. Main event being discussed is Rampage Jackson vs. Fedor Emelianenko, and it would be billed as the Russian's final fight in Japan.
