UFC president Dana White had already signaled last week that the new bantamweight champion would be challenged by the winner of the clash between Sterling and Peter Munhoz. After defeating the Brazilian, the North American then won the right to share the octagon with Henry Cejudo, who defeated Marlon moraes by knockout last weekend, winning the division title.
