In turn, the commentator on the Combate channel, Luciano Andrade, supported the judges' decision. “The clearest round was the second, won by Macapá. The first left room for interpretation, but I found 29×28 for Rodrigo Damm".
Murilo Ninja preferred not to argue and, despite seeing John's victory, stated that the duel was quite balanced. “I would give this fight to Macapá. He fought more, landed more blows, was more forceful… But Damm managed to get good takedowns. It will cause controversy.
